Vittoria Diamante Pro 2 Review

We've been fans of higher thread count clincher tires for a long time. The newsteam has used a number of Vittoria products over the years both tubular and clincher. A few years back when Vittoria released the original Diamante Pro (Pro being the Vittoria folks designation for 'folding') we were very impressed. Fundamentals
Kansas City Metro

This weekend features one of the core events of American style bicycle racing: a criterium. It's also a great opportunity if you're a woman. The Lansing Daze Women's Criterium has a host of events and awards for all abilities. Hard working Roger Harrison has amped up the event from last year with even more categories. A great value for experience and the experienced alike. Scroll down to the Flyers section for more details. Roger also notes that there is some construction going on in the Lansing/Leavenworth area, so allow a little extra time for travel.

Tonight (Thursday 5/1) is another scheduled session of the Gardner 10K Time Trial put on by the NEET folks. If you're getting ready for Corporate Challenge, Triathlons, Stage Races, or just want to chase down the break, this is another fundamental event. Scroll down for details.

Unfortunately the weather forced a cancellation of the Hearland Series mountain bike race at Lake Perry. Those guys have had some bad luck, but they keep pluggin along, finding alternate dates and keeping our trails cool. The results for the Joseph Sheehan Road Race are posted here. Partial results for the Veltek Grand Prix are posted at the KCA Site.

This upcoming weekend features Womens racing at the Lansing Daze Criteriums, as well as the Johnson Garden Center Stage Race in Wichita.
