We've been fans of higher thread count clincher tires for a long time. The newsteam has used a number of Vittoria products over the years both tubular and clincher. A few years back when Vittoria released the original Diamante Pro (Pro being the Vittoria folks designation for 'folding') we were very impressed. A 220 TPI thread count gave it a very supple ride, maybe not quite as smooth as their flagshipo Corsa Open tubular series, but still very nice. Plus the tire had a more durable rubber compound, allowing a rider to get training mileage on a tire that was race worthy. From the Heartland folks: "Dirt Lovin' Good Times presented by The North Face Shawnee Mission 3/6..this Saturday Join us this Saturday for the inaugural running of the Shawnee Mission 3hr/6hr and 5k/10k at Shawnee Mission Park, in Shawnee, KS. The course conditions are in sweet shape and the forecast is calling for awesome weather. We are working on getting the course prepped and beautifully groomed for the racing this weekend. One small item of note....No overnight camping will be available.
In addition to over $3000 in prizes available for the taking, there will also be a raffle of items valued at over $1800.
