Here's a couple of events to start the new year off right. Road: Join the MS Society for the New Year's Day Ride!
Come join us and the Kansas City Bicycle Club at the Longview Community College Recreation Center parking lot, located at View High Drive and 3rd Street in Lee's Summit (near Longview Lake and Longview Community College). The ride will begin at 1 pm, and have multiple distance options depending on your skill level (and the weather).
If the weather is wet, icy, currently raining/snowing, or it's below 35 degrees, turn-out may be minimal. But there will still be a few hearty souls putting rubber to road to commemorate the beginning of the year. We hope to see you there! And after the ride, join the KCBC at a nearby restaurant to celebrate the new year our first ride together.
Register now for the 2007 MS 150 Bike Tour at: http://www.msmidamerica.org
