Looking for Something Fun to Do on Friday Night?
Abby and Amanda, The Ditty Bops, are riding their bicycles between stops on their nationwide tour. The Local Cycling news team escorted them out of Kansas City on Monday morning and set them en route to Columbia (partly via the Katy Trail). We suspect they'll be arriving in St. Louis via that route as well.
Saturday morning is sure to see the Ditty Bops up early riding from St. Louis to Springfield, IL. If your ride plans aren't set in stone, plan to join them for all or part of the ride. (They're good company in addition to being marvelous singers, songwriters and entertainers.) |

2006 promises to be a banner year for racing in the St. Louis Metro. Mountain biking and Adventure racing will have a full schedule. Here's the flyer for the winter epic Bonk Hard Chill. There's still cyclocross in February with the 18th Annual Tour De Groundhog. A comprehensive race schedule will be available from the MOBRA folks soon, until then here's a tentative calendar of contacts. MOBRA is the Missouri racing association representing the USCF, this is the link to their website. |
