the “Mocktail Hour”
Every third Friday of each month, (August's 3rd fri is the 17th-tomorrow!)
regardless of weather, the Greater Kansas Bicycle Federation
offers free food, beverages and bicycle repair to area bicycle commuters.
The “Mocktail Hour” is set up at the corner of Westport Road and Broadway
(on the island at the Northeast corner) from 5-7PM.

This just in: "After three unsuccessful attempts to secure a course for the State Criterium on September 9, we unfortunately need to cancel the tentatively permitted event. We came close with two different options in Topeka, but both the police (downtown option) and city (Gage Park) have now said no....and we are out of time and resources to identify another alternative." |
