Here's a reminder that while cyclocross is on the brains of many area riders, there are still road events in the mix: "The second annual Le Tour De Ste Genevieve will be held Saturday September 20th in Ste. Genevieve, MO. It is the last road race for the 2008 season which means its the last chance to come out and show off that late season form. There are "plenty" of climbs on beautiful county roads ending at the Ste Genevieve Community center. Come check out the town and its many bed and breakfast's and wineries only 50 miles south of St. Louis. Flyer here." |

St. Louis based Mesa Cycling Racing Team hit the road for the 49th annual Fitchburg Longsjo Classic in Fitchburg MA. The race was held from July 3 to the 6th. The race is the largest pro/am cycling event in North America, the second oldest races in the country and attracts over 900 riders from around the world with $51,500 in total prizes.
