Just in from Mike Weiss: "Due to the forecast of 1" of wet snow and 30 mph winds Julie Hall and the Columbia Bicycle Club are postponing Froze Toes until Sunday March 4th."
 
Springfield/Branson Stages for Tour PDF Print E-mail

Springfield will host  the finish of Stage 2 of the Tour of Missouri Stage Race (Sept. 11-16), while the decisive time trial event will be held in Branson. Race organizers and civic officials announced the host cities for the event at a press conference today in Kansas City's Intercontinetal Hotel. More specific details of each  stage will be released in early spring.

 

The additional stages will be as follows: Stage 1, Kansas City road race (out and back). Stage 2, Clinton to Springfield road race. Stage 3 Branson, Individual Time Trail (expected to be hilly). Day 4 Lebanon to Columbia Road Race. Stage 5, Jefferson City to St. Charles Road Race. Stage 6, St. Louis Circuit race. Race map.

All venues will feature a health and wellness expo as well as opportunities to interact with the cyclists. Mark Breeding captured those in attendence in this gallery.
