St. Louis will be hosting a unique world class event in 2008, the UCI World Cyclostair Championship. While simillar to events like the Empire State building stair run, Cyclostair competitors must reach the top of their venue with a fully functioning cyclocross bike. The St. Louis Arch will be particularly challenging because of the difficult in passing while shouldering a bike in the narrow confines. Details at www.stairbikechamps.com |
