There's plenty of room for bad puns ready made for Chamois cremes. Back in the day when some of the staff at Localcycling.com started racing a lot of stuff you sat on was made of real leather. Treating the chamois with some kind of softner was essential. In today's world and synthetic things to sit on, it seems a less likely need. However, staff of both genders at localcycling have tried this product and found it quite beneficial. We've been fans of higher thread count clincher tires for a long time. The newsteam has used a number of Vittoria products over the years both tubular and clincher. A few years back when Vittoria released the original Diamante Pro (Pro being the Vittoria folks designation for 'folding') we were very impressed. A big thanks to all the race-day workers: the USA Cycling officials got the event went off smoothly and posted results quickly, Roger Harrison made certain we had a safe course with entertainment on the climb, and the volunteers monitoring the corners and running registration all did a great job. I want to especially thank Trudi Rebsamen and my wonderful wife Nan Gatewood who rounded up prizes, organized volunteers and generally made sure that details did not fall through the cracks.
Good luck to everyone in their 2007 season.
Hope to see everyone next year. Adam Gatewood and Wheatland Cycling Team
