The village setting will allow spectators to easily view the entire course. The event will also utilize Old Shawnee's heated Town Hall to register riders and host the post race party. Beer provided by local Boulevard Brewery will help keep the spectators enthusiastic. Expect lots of ringing cowbells to cheer on the riders in  the likely frigid conditions.

Shawnee is the sister city of Pittem, Belgium and this will definitely be Belgian style cyclocross. A packet pickup will be held on Saturday January 7th at Trek Bicycle Store of Kansas City. Registration is now open here.
