Day 3 Cyclocross Nationals Written by Mark Thomas    Sunday, 11 December 2005 Sketchy, muddy, icy, rutted. Those words and more describe the course on the final day of competition in Providence, R.I.   Catherine Walberg (15th) and Jen Tilley (36th) both rode quite well in the Women's Elite event despite the challenging conditions. Also contested at the same venue was the Liberty Invitational, featuring cyclocross racers from nearly every previously contested National Championshiop category. The event was won by freshly crowned Elite champ Todd Wells. Steve Tilford placed 10th and Tony Wilhelm came in at 23rd.   < Prev   Next > [ Back ]
