Vittoria Diamante Pro 2 Review

We've been fans of higher thread count clincher tires for a long time. The newsteam has used a number of Vittoria products over the years both tubular and clincher. A few years back when Vittoria released the original Diamante Pro (Pro being the Vittoria folks designation for 'folding') we were very impressed. A 220 TPI thread count gave it a very supple ride, maybe not quite as smooth as their flagshipo Corsa Open tubular series, but still very nice. Plus the tire had a more durable rubber compound, allowing a rider to get training mileage on a tire that was race worthy. "We are less than two weeks out to the opening event of the 2008 Heartland Sports Promotions [HSP] season. Truman's Big Love Cross Country (HMBCS #1) and Truman's Big Love 5/10k are waiting for you. Come out and join us on Sunday, March 2nd at Landahl Park Reserve. We have updated the website with all the facts, so be sure and check it out for the latest dirt. www.heartlandrace.com

1. Online registration for all events. No extra fees. Simple and easy to use.

2. Trail Runs. We have added a 5k and 10k trail running race to all of our events except the Dirty Kanza 200

3. 50k Trail Run: The North Face is sponsoring a 50k trail run on March 28th. Yup...50k

4. Two new venues:

Corby Park. St. Joseph, MO. A brand new trail system in the heart of the city. [HMBCS event]

Shawnee Mission Park. Shawnee, KS. Newly revamped trail system. [3hr/6hr]

5. Pappy's Place. A weekly sermon brought to you by the world famous Coach Long.
