Localcycling.com sponsors two weekly rides that have required lights for the last few months. Starting tonight, the Monday Night Recovery ride from Casa Paloma should be able to sqeak in without lights, but it's wise to keep them on for a couple of weeks just to be sure.

Our Wednesday Night Hill Ride, which starts from a new location for 2008 (Bates City BBQ at 65th and Quivira) will keep it to two big climbs for the first couple of weeks to try to beat the darkness. After that, we'll do the full Monty. Note that the new start, while on last year's course, gives us an easier path through the neighborhood traffic PLUS good food and drink.
