Chamois Butt'r Eurostyle Review

There's plenty of room for bad puns ready made for Chamois cremes. Back in the day when some of the staff at Localcycling.com started racing a lot of stuff you sat on was made of real leather. Treating the chamois with some kind of softner was essential. In today's world and synthetic things to sit on, it seems a less likely need. However, staff of both genders at localcycling have tried this product and found it quite beneficial. Let's face it, sometimes 'team shorts' don't have the same comfort and quality of materials as those $200 supershorts. We started using Chamois Butt'r Euro style on a     Full Story

Vittoria Diamante Pro 2 Review

We've been fans of higher thread count clincher tires for a long time. The newsteam has used a number of Vittoria products over the years both tubular and clincher. A few years back when Vittoria released the original Diamante Pro (Pro being the Vittoria folks designation for 'folding') we were very impressed. A 220 TPI thread count gave it a very supple ride, maybe not quite as smooth as their flagshipo Corsa Open tubular series, but still very nice. Plus the tire had a more durable rubber compound, allowing a rider to get training mileage on a tire that was race worthy. For those travelling to this weekend's Spring Classic in Nebraska, this just in:

"Spring Cycling Classic pb LifeCycles OB/GYN
Saturday Race Start Moved to 11:00am (CDT)

The start of the road race at Branched Oak Lake on Saturday has been
moved to 11:00am. After confirming with the race organization,
volunteers and Branched Oak Lake park management, the decision was
made earlier today.

Click on 'read more' for more details:

We have been fortunate to miss the snowfall that has plagued a lot of
other areas in the Midwest, but I felt that in the best interest of
those that are travelling today, we would push the race start back to
buy some more time for travel. This will also allow racers and
volunteers alike a bit of extra time in the morning to prepare and
give Mother Nature a chance to warm-up for us...relatively speaking.

The races will begin at 11:00am with the Men 1/2/3 followed by the
Men Masters, Women 1/2/3, Men 4 and Men 5 with the Women 4. Complete
details are available in the CALENDAR section of
www.nebraskacyclingnews.com

The schedule for Sunday's circuit race at Pioneers Park remains the
same.

REGISTRATION IS STILL OPEN!
Registration for both events is available on www.sportsbaseonline.com
Pre-registration is required for both races. Registration will remain
open until 9:00pm (CDT) Friday, April 11.
The registration was inadvertently closed earlier today, but is back
online.
PLEASE NOTE: The start times on the SBO site might not be matched up
quite yet with the changes discussed here.

We apologize for any confusion or inconvenience.
