Chamois Butt'r Eurostyle Review

There's plenty of room for bad puns ready made for Chamois cremes. Back in the day when some of the staff at Localcycling.com started racing a lot of stuff you sat on was made of real leather. Treating the chamois with some kind of softner was essential. In today's world and synthetic things to sit on, it seems a less likely need. However, staff of both genders at localcycling have tried this product and found it quite beneficial. Let's face it, sometimes 'team shorts' don't have the same comfort and quality of materials as those $200 supershorts. We started using Chamois Butt'r Euro style on a     Full Story

Vittoria Diamante Pro 2 Review

We've been fans of higher thread count clincher tires for a long time. The newsteam has used a number of Vittoria products over the years both tubular and clincher. A few years back when Vittoria released the original Diamante Pro (Pro being the Vittoria folks designation for 'folding') we were very impressed. JUST IN: Time Trial Rescheduled PDF Print E-mail
Written by Mark Thomas
Thursday, 05 June 2008

From Chris Hess: The Epic Time Trial is rescheduled for June 12, 2008 due to an unusually severe weather forecast.  Kansas City weather and emergency response professionals state there is a high volume of instability in the atmosphere today, June 5.  According to reports, the overall atmospheric conditions are similar to those that led to an event on June 8, 1974, when three dozen tornadoes hit the area and killed 22 people.  To ensure personal and family safety, particular vigilance should be maintained between 4:00 – 7:00 p.m., then again from 9:00 p.m. to midnight, when sustained winds of 30 mph with gusts to 45 mph carry the potential for property damage due to wind and predicted hail.   In other words, don't go out riding because this event is postponed.  Today's conditions warrant aggressive measures to ensure personal and family safety.
