We're a little off season writing this review, but we plan to supplement with some updates on other items from this fresh clothing supplier. CCN has had a European presence for several years, but has just recently hit the US market.
Our tester has been a team clothing user/buyer for over 25 years, so there's been plenty of experiene with the good and bad.
Prior to a trip to Belgium for the Masters World Cyclocross Championship, a chance email from a local rep and a torn fleeced skinsuit made for an opportunity to check out clothing supplier CCN's offerings.
The skinsuit arrived just in time for one quick spin stateside, but the tester was quite pleased with the fit, light fleecing for the January race conditions AND the superbe Italian chamois.
Under race conditions, the roubaix fabric with the soft exterior finish, made the skinsuit one of the most comfortable the tester (who has owned many many) has ever worn. The chamois was a treat compared to most 'team' kits padding.
This Spring, the Localcycling.com Team buyers had enough confidence after seeing samples of the full line to place a full order. In the photo is the new light wind jacket which has a nice soft feel and wil compact better than many into a jersey pocket.
We do note, that the website is a bit confusing, (there's a Euro distributor with a slightly cleaner layout), and the company had to resize some of the samples to reflect production quality. But overall this supplier offers excellent quality and some of the best pricing to be found. A last note, you can see the kit in everyday use in KC on the BigD squad.
