A very very well groomed grass velodrome provided by Lawrence cycling enthusiast Steve Schwada made the hot temperature racing even hotter. The new venue was equiped with shelter from the sun (and the after party storm) thanks to Bill Anderson of Anderson rentals. One tent was dedicated to 'refreshments' and offered some nice spectator seating. The Localcycling.com supporters club contributed excellent food for all.

Multiple State Champions were crowned after a full day of racing. This reporter can be certain 'a good time was had by all!'.

This venue will be the site of 2 cyclocross races this fall.
