Friday is the opening cycling event of the Sunflower Games: Time Trial
Followed by the Criterium
Saturday night is the Lenexa Midnite Ride with a NEW route.
Sunday offers the Sunflower Games Road Race.
Thursdays offer a limited opportunity to check out the Grass Track venue in Lawrence. This is a show-n-go event to familiarize riders with velodrome rules. A Clinic will be offered each Thurs prior to the July 24th State Championship event. To do mass start events you must be a Category 4 for Track for men or 3 for women. You can upgrade by attending this clinic. 7PM Starts/Directions on the attached State Championship Flyer to the track.

PLEASE MEET AT THE TOP OF THE HILL AT CAMP LAKE OF THE WOODS BY 6 PM THURSDAY EVENINGS IF WANTING TO RACE (near the Hogan)!!! YOU WILL STILL HAVE TO PARK AT THE MAIN TRAILHEAD AND RIDE THE HILL UP. ALL RACES ARE SUBJECT TO THE WEATHER/COURSE CONDITIONS.

Join us on Monday, July 12th from 6 to 8 pm at Family Bicycles as we officially kick off the 2010 AIDS Bicycle Challenge campaign! Come enjoy burgers, brats, beer and remarks from this year's Honorary Chair, State Senator Jolie Justus! The event coincides with the weekly training ride at Family Bicycles. You are welcome to participate in the training ride or just stop by for food and drink!

Localcycling's bike caravan will leave Waxy O'Sheas (Shawnee Mission Pkwy and Quivira) promptly at 6:30PM for a spin over to the kickoff. A good opportunity to register for the event and enjoy some free food. Bring a blinking rear light for the return ride.
